This project was shot entirely on 16mm film. I used an Arriflex 416 camera with Kodak Vision3 250D and 500T stocks. It was truly thrilling and exciting to work in an environment without digital cameras for the first time in a long while.
The photography was also done on a 35mm film camera, using Kodak Portra 400 and 800. In an age where everything happens instantaneously, the process of developing, scanning, and waiting for the film provided a refreshing change for me. I’ve always believed there’s a certain romance in working with analog.
